Michelle Obama's stylist Johnny Wright says her bangs, which created an international sensation, were a "collaborative effort" done for the occasion of the first lady's cover shoot with Vogue.
“I love them,” he tells the Washington Post. “I think they’re fresh. Some people love them, some people hate them. But that’s the beauty of hair."
While her husband has said he loves the new do, others have not been sparing in their criticism. So is she growing them out now?
“We don’t know,” Wright told the Post. “We don’t think about things like that. It’s a fun style right now.”
