Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova is expected to return to duties on March 25 according to former Nou Camp manager Carles Rexach.
Vilanova has been in New York since late January to receive treatment for cancer after suffering a relapse late last year.
Vilanova's assistant Jordi Roura has taken charge of the first-team in his absence.
But former Barcelona coach, and current club assessor, Rexach, has made it clear the La Liga leaders expect the 44-year-old back by the end of this month.
"It looks like he will be here on the 25th," Rexach told the programme Divendres on Catalan regional station TV3.
Despite Vilanova's absence, Barcelona lead La Liga by 13 points and have moved through to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
However, they lost their Spanish Cup crown after being knocked out by arch-rival Real Madrid.
